Insee Chandrastitya Institute for Plant Science Research and Development was established for the conducting research and providing academic service related to plant science to society. It centralized the research stations and research centers that shared similar missions and objectives in the benefits of collaboration in educational development, also to be in accordance with the university reorganization policy as of the Higher Education Development Plan volume 7.
