Faculty of Humanities, Kasetsart University

The Faculty of Humanities, Kasetsart University was established on June 17, 1981. It was formerly the Department of English Language under the Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry. Later, the Faculty of Science and Arts was established, the Department of English Language was transferred to be under the Faculty of Science and Arts. Until 1981, the Faculty of Humanities was established. Then, the Department of English Language was transferred to be under the Faculty of Humanities. There were 3 departments including the Department of Languages, the Department of Linguistics, and the Department of Literature. The Department of Philosophy and Religion was also added as it was transferred from the Faculty of Social Science. Moreover, 3 additional departments were established, including the Department of Library Science, the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Industry, and the Department of Communications.
