The Office of the University Library, Kasetsart University (Kasetsart University Library)

The Office of the University Library, Kasetsart University or Kasetsart University Library was initiated at the same time as the university establishment in 1943. In 1951. The university library was merged to the Department of Agriculture library, called “The Central Library”. It worked in collaboration with the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA). Mrs. Mabel Right was sent to help on the library management system by introducing the Library of Congress system to the Central Library, which made the Central Library be one of the first libraries in Thailand that applied the Library of Congress system. In 1956, there was a reorganization of the university, turning the Central Library to the Library Division, under the Office of Secretary, the Department of Kasetsart University. In 1977, the Library Division was upgraded to The Office of the University Library, Kasetsart University with equivalent to one of the university faculty.
