The Institute of Food Research and Product Development

In an early year, the Institute of Food Research and Product Development was the research and experiment department of Thai Food Processor Organization, who was responsible for purchasing the food experimental and production machinery for the military, established in 1955 and located within the area of Kasetsart University. The cabinet had the resolution to transfer the research and experiment department to be under Kasetsart University on September 30, 1968 with the first Director was Professor Amara Bhumiratana.
