The Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University

The Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University was established on June 21, 1961, formerly known as the “Faculty of Science and Arts”, offering the science, social science, and linguistics program. According to the Royal Decree prescribed the organizing of the university faculty, published on March 1, 1966, the next day after the publication of the Royal Decree, March 9, 1966, was known as the founding date of the Faculty of Science and Arts. The first Dear was Professor Dr. Davi Yanasugondha. In 1974, the Faculty of Social Science was established, the Department of Social Science was transferred to be under the Faculty of Social Science. In 1981, the Department of Thai Language was transferred to be under the Faculty of Humanities. Therefore, the Faculty of Science and Arts was renamed to the Faculty of Science, as prescribed in the Government Gazette, given on July 1, 1981.
