Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University

Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University was developed from the Irrigation Engineering School, the Royal Irrigation Department, Ministry of Agriculture which was established on August 1, 1938. In the early, it offered an irrigation engineer certificate program (2 years). The school name was changed on August 23, 1951 to “The School of Irrigation”. In 1954, it was upgraded to be equal to the Faculty of Irrigation Engineering under Kasetsart University, offering an irrigation engineering diploma (5 years). On March 1, 1966. The faculty location was moved from the Royal Irrigation Department, Pakkred to Kasetsart University, Bangkhen. Mom Luang Xujati Kambhu was the first Director of the School of Irrigation Engineering. When it was changed to the Faculty of Engineering. Mr. Santhit Weerathien was the first Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Kasetsart University.
