Kasetsart University Savings and Credit Cooperative Limited

Beginning in the year 1958, there was a meeting of the applicants to register for cooperative registration in order to proceed with the registration of cooperative registration at the Department of Home Economics’ meeting room, Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry. The meeting came with the resolution to request registration to establish Savings and Credit Cooperative for government service of Kasetsart University Department, according to the Cooperative Act B.E. 2417 (1874), which was named "Cooperative Limited for Government Service of Kasetsart University Department". The meeting also elected the first annual operating committee for 10 people, namely Mr. Insee Chandrastitya, Chairman of the Board, by position; Mr. Phol Rangdaeng, Treasurer, by position. On January 6, 1959, the registrar of the cooperative registered to establish the cooperative named "Cooperative Limited for Government Service of Kasetsart University Department" with 110 initial members get the cooperative registration number 23/10889 according to the letter from the cooperative registrar number 67/2502 issued on January 7, 1959. On April 22, 1969 the name was changed to "Kasetsart University Savings and Credit Cooperative Limited". Until now, the Chairman of the Board was the University President, by position.
