The Knowledge Center Museum (Building No. 13)

The Knowledge Center Museum was the thirteenth building of The Chalermphrakiet Sakon Nakhon Province Campus, Kasetsart University. It was a 2-story building with an area 3,200 square metre, using the construction budget supporting by Dr. Kanistha Karnchanacharee, the Chairman of Savita Education Fund, a total of 40,000,000.00 Baht. The construction was started on May 9, 2005. H.E. Mister Ampol Senanarong, the Privy Councilor and Chairman of the Kasetsart University Council, presided over the auspicious foundation stone laying ceremony on August 15, 2005 on 8:18 am. The construction was completed on April 4, 2006. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the opening ceremony of The Knowledge Center Museum on February 22, 2007. The ground floor was the exhibition room to honor and revere of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, the exhibition room for soil science, and the Hall of History of the campus. There was an open garden in the center of the building with the odorous plant. The upper floor housed the meditation room, meeting room, office, and lecture room. The Knowledge Center Museum was built for delivering education and academic services to society in the upper Northern region and the neighboring countries of the Mekong as it had an advantage in geography. And its architecture will inherit Northern regional art and culture.
