Faculty of Economics at Sriracha
The University Council approved Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus to offer the graduate program in April 2003. It offered 2 programs, namely, Master of Economics Program in Business Economics and Master of Arts in Agribusiness (later changed to Master of Science), to produce the labor force, which was the major factor in social and national development, to meet the needs in Eastern Seaboard, which was the important strategic area and economic base of the country. The first batch students enrolled in the academic year 2003. In later times, the Kasetsart University Council approved the establishment of the College of Graduate Studies on September 15, 2004. It was one of the organizations under Sriracha Campus’s supervision, the equivalent of the faculty to support the teaching and studying at the graduate level, including the current programs and other related programs. On September 24, 2007, the name of the College of Graduate Studies was changed to the Graduate College at Sriracha upon the approval of the University Council.In 2011, the University Council approved Graduate College at Sriracha to adjust the organizational structure to be consistent with the responsible mission and changed the name to the Faculty of Economics at Sriracha on February 3, 2011. The first batch students enrolled in the first semester of the academic year 2011.
