KU Band, the Band of Kasetsart University

KU Band was established by Mom Chao Chakrabhandhu-Pensiri Chakrabhandhu (the then noble title, His Highness Prince Chakrabhandhu-Pensiri Chakrabhandhu), who gather the musicians of Kasetsart University and perform in an event “The Chicken Day”, the annual fecundity of chickens competition of the Association of Hen-Egg Farmer and Luang Suwan Vajokkasikij was the Chairman, on Saturday, September 8, 1951. This day is the official founding date of the KU Band, even though the name KU Band would come from vote just on October 1, 1952.
