Princess Sirindhorn International Center for Research Development and Technology Transfer

Princess Sirindhorn International Center for Research Development and Technology Transfer was the collaboration between the Bureau of the Royal Household in Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Royal Project and Kasetsart University, with a short name "Princess Sirindhorn International Center" abbreviation "PSIC". Upon approval from the Kasetsart University Council Meeting 5th / B.E.2545 (2002) on May 20, 2002 to ask for the royal permission to use the title of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn “Sirindhorn” to be the center name. It was the first Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Royal Initiates on teaching, studying, research, development, and technology transfer. It was initiated on the occasion of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's 48th Birthday Anniversary on April 2, 2003. Moreover, with the royal grace of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to preside over the opening ceremony on May 30, 2002 at the Central Research Laboratory Building, 7th floor, Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus. Presently, Princess Sirindhorn International Center for Research Development and Technology Transfer is located on the 5th floor, Debaratana Vidhayachote Building. Dr.Aree Thunkijjanukij, Assistant to the president, was the PISC Acting Director.
