Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Planted Trees at Warunawan Garden, Kasetsart University

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn planted the trees, attended the administrators, personnel, and the students of the Faculty of Forestry, on the occasion of Asanha Busha Day at Warunawan Garden, Kasetsart University. H.E. Mister Ampol Senanarong, Dr. Chongrak Wachrinrat, the Acting Kasetsart University President, Dr. Damrong Sripraram, the Acting Vice President of Management and Internal Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Nikom Leamsak, Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, the students and personnel of the Faculty of Forestry had an audience of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn planted 5 provincial trees at Warunawan Garden, Kasetsart University. The trees,including Yang Na, Ubonratchthani provincial tree; Teak, Uttaradit provincial tree; Non si, Nonthaburi provincial tree; Kade, Prajuabkirikan provincial tree; and Sri Trang, Trang provincial tree. Non si is also a Kasetsart University’s symbolic tree. His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, together with Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother graciously planted 9 Non si the trees in front of the Kasetsart University Auditorium on November 29, 1963. Warunawan Garden has the Thailand Map shape with an area of 6 Rais, accumulated all provincial trees in Thailand. It’s open for the general public.
