Faculty of Natural Resource and Agro-Industry
The Faculty of Natural Resource and Agro-Industry focused on the geography of the area and natural resources in the upper northeast region, such as the Phu Phan Mountains, which was a local characteristic of Nong Han. It was a large water source and freshwater resources located at Sakon Nakhon basin, which was a water source for agriculture and freshwater animals, and dipterocarp forest, which was the majority of forest areas in the region. As well as being an area for agriculture in various fields such as growing crops (jasmine rice, glutinous rice, cassava, jute, soybeans) and raising animals (dairy cows, beef cattle, swine, and poultry), which were the main income source of people in this region. There are 7 disciplines offered: - Department of Agro-Bioresources - Department of Food Technology - Department of Agricultural Resources - Department of Food Safety and Nutrition - Department of Agricultural Resources and Production Management - Department of Fisheries – Department of Animal Science. Presently, the campus organization structure has been changed according to the Kasetsart University Announcement
