The Administrative Building (Building No. 1)

The Administrative Building was the first building of The Chalermphrakiet Sakon Nakhon Province Campus, Kasetsart University. Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother graciously bestowed Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana to preside over the auspicious foundation stone laying ceremony on November 28, 1997 on 2.30 pm.The Administrative Building was the 4-story building with area 5,265 square metre, using the construction budget total of 55,900,000.00 baht. The construction was started on July 4, 1997 and completed on February 3, 1999. During that time, it was the only building on the campus. The usage of the building was as follows. The 1st floor housed the exhibition room of the history of the campus, the lecture room for the campus’s visitors, the office of student affairs, human resources, administrative, public relations and international affairs. The 2nd floor housed the Office of the Chalermphrakiet Sakon Nakhon Province Campus, the office of the administrators and administrative staff, 3 meeting rooms including Phra Phirun Room, Nonsi Room, and Inthanin Nam (Queen’s Flower) Room, which can be used for the remote conference to other campuses. The 3rd floor housed the Office of the Campus Administrators including the office of the Vice President of the Chalermphrakiet Sakon Nakhon Province Campus, 3 Deans, and 2 Directors. The 4th floor housed the lecture room for graduate students and the auditorium room called Fueang Fah with 100 seat capacity. After building additional building and reorganization, the usage was changed for more appropriation.
