The Opening Ceremony of the Three Musketeers of Agriculture Monument

The Three Musketeers of Agriculture Monument was built as a memorial to these early teachers who, with great dedication, patience and self-sacrifice, laid the foundations of modern agriculture and the agricultural education in Thailand, including Luang Suwan Vajokkasikij (Suwan (Thongdi) Resanon), Phra Chuangkasetsinlapakan (Chuang Lojaya), and Special Professor Insee Chandrastitya (Luang Ingkhasikasikan (Iang Chandrastitya)). Those three teachers are known as the Three Musketeers. The Three Musketeers of Agriculture Monument was located in front of Kasettrathikarn Institution, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives. In the early day, there was only a monument of “Luang Suwan Vajokkasikij”, which was build and had the opening ceremony on February 2, 1968 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the founding of Kasetsart University.When it came to the 50th anniversary of the founding of Kasetsart University on February 2, 1993, the Kasetsart University alumni considered to build the monument of Phra Chuangkasetsinlapakan and Special Professor Insee Chandrastitya nearby the monument of Luang Suwan Vajokkasikij. There was an opening ceremony of the Three Musketeers Monument on February 2, 1995.
