Phraya Acharajsongsiri, Kasetsart University 4th Chairman of the University Council

Phraya Acharajsongsiri was the 4th Chairman of the Kasetsart University Council. (February 2, 1946 – March 18, 1946). He was born on August 12, 1880 at Banglumpoo Lang sub-district, Klong-san district, Thonburi province, son of Luang Dhebphakdee (Hruin) and Mrs. Dhebphakdee (Cheay). He took his Pali language exam and been accepted in Dhamma study of Bachelor theology, Mahamakut Buddhist University, Thai language exam passed one level at Wat Prayurawong, English language passed level 4 at Assumption School, and completed his barrister-at-law. Phraya Acharajsongsiri served as a government service at Legal Execution of Civil Case Division, Ministry of Justice. In 1903, from his good performance, honesty, and hard-working, he was promoted to higher position and appointed Foreign Judicial Judge of Chiangmai city (1903), The Acting Judge of the northwest region for 6 months (1907), Foreign Judicial Judge of Bangkok (1910), Director General Judge of Chumporn region (1911), Director General Judge of Surat region (1926), Director General Judge of Civil Cases (1928), and graciously appointed the Director General of Department of Lands and Mines (1933-1936).
