Kasetsart University Research and Development Institute

In 1966, Kasetsart University Research and Development Institute was initiated from the research committees of the university, responsible for forming policies, promoting, recommending, and research coordination. After that, “The Office of Research” was established as well as the university considered the student's training station of each faculty could project the role of research development in every field. Therefore, the “Students Training Station” was changed to “Research Station”, being under university supervision. The faculty and research could do the research, students training and disseminating the research work to the community and drive the action in the community. On October 2, 1978, the Ministry of University Affairs came to the resolution to establish “Kasetsart University Research and Development Institute” as declared in the Royal Gazette on October 10, 1978 with 4 research field, research and assessment field, research service field, applied research field, and research station - Kasetsart University Research and Development Institute or KURDI.
