Field Marshal Thanom Kittikhajorn, Kasetsart University 18th Chairman of the University Council

Field Marshal Thanom Kittikhajorn was the 18th Chairman of the Kasetsart University Council (December 9, 1963 – August 29, 1972). He was born on August 11, 1911 at Nong Luang sub-district, Muang district, Tak province, the eldest son of Luang Sophitbunnalak. He went to Kokh Plu School, Tak province from 1916 – 1919, before went to the former curricular of Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy during 1920 – 1929. After graduated from the Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy, he worked for military service of the Royal Thai Army. During military service, he continued his study in the Royal Thai Survey School, Infantry School. In 1955, he went to Thailand National Defence College, Ministry of Interior, batch no.1.
